The world’s largest Smartphone market

China surpassed United States for the physical sales of smart phones, while the United States remain leaders on financial volume of the market. That was reported by Agency France-Press, with reference to the study of marketing company Strategy Analytics. Assessment firms, in the third quarter of 2011, the PRC has sold 24 million Smartphone’s, while in the United States-only 23 million. Strategy Analytics said CEO Neil Moston, China is now “on the front line of world market of mobile computing. He added that the Chinese market cannot ignore either one large market. In the third quarter, sales of Smartphone’s in the PRC increased by 58% to 23.9 million units, while in the United States, they fell by 7 per cent to 23.3 million. The rapid growth in China has been an increase in retail network, aggressive subsidies to manufacturers of expensive equipment, as well as the unfolding of the mass production of local cheap models. A leader in the Chinese market is a Finnish company Nokia, which owns 28 percent of sales. In the United States is dominated by the Taiwanese company HTC, which owns 24 percent of the market.
