Google Maps can work with maps in offline
Google Maps Mobile application can work with maps offline, according to Google blog. However, until only the version for Android; to use the new features require OS Android 2.1 + and up to date version of the application itself. A feature called “Maps for offline use” and is activated via the menu item “laboratory of Google” (Labs).
The user will be able to save on the Smartphone or Tablet map and enjoy it without an Internet connection. However, there are a few but: satellite photos and 3D objects save fail, in addition, the maps are stored on the device only 30 days and then automatically deleted.
